I work for COSEINC. I'm a member of AML (advanced malware lab), the team that created Blue Pill virtualised rootkit. I focus on Windows Mobile/Embedded security.
Yes, I have been writing computer viruses. All of them were proof-of-concept. NONE of them were in the wild spreading. I published all of my stuff in a magazine so nothing was done covert. It was my way of doing security research and I don't feel any moral issues about that. Don't trust antivirus vendors, after all, they want to make money and they NEED an enemy.
